What is a smart solutions?

Smart solutions is a general term for systems combining

innovative technologies, both in terms of hardware

and software. They are widely applied in many fields

of life – starting from smart offices, cars, and

finishing on cities.

Smart technologies can help to get a clear data of the

condition, location, and environment of goods, and processes at anytime, anywhere, also to make intelligent decisions and take corrective actions so that the supply chain can run more efficiently.

This work aims at exploring the state of art on the smart solutions such as Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing,n Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM). This paper explains the potential applications as well as the impact of smart techniques on SCM.

Furthermore, a smart model for supply chain management is

proposed.

Data loggers are electronic devices which automatically monitor and record environmental parameters over time, allowing conditions to be measured, documented, analysed and validated. The data logger contains a sensor to receive the information and a computer chip to store it.

How should data loggers be used?

Data loggers can be used in a range of ways such as tracking products throughout the entire supply chain going between different points, tracking reusable supply chain assets, and monitoring assets in cold storage.
